In this course, you will learn how to use the most common FortiSwitch features. Through interactive labs, you will explore VLAN configurations, link aggregation, spanning tree protocols, FortiLink, switch management, network segmentation, and security features such as 802.1X authentication, MAC filtering, and port security. You will also gain hands-on experience in troubleshooting, monitoring, and optimizing FortiSwitch deployments within the Fortinet Security Fabric. These administration fundamentals will provide you with a solid understanding of how to implement and manage FortiSwitch in enterprise environments.

Apply link aggregation (LACP) to optimize network performance
Configure and manage Spanning Tree Protocol (STP, RSTP, MSTP) for loop prevention
Integrate FortiSwitch with FortiGate (FortiLink) for centralized management
Secure network access using 802.1X authentication, MAC filtering, and port security
Implement Quality of Service (QoS) to prioritize network traffic
Monitor network activity and diagnose switch-related issues using built-in tools
